Morning Cafe, I tried a little bit of everyone's coffee and they all taste good!

IM, nice looking b-day cake for the 2 digit young man

Yep, I don't bring the water quite to a boil. Also depends on what brand of coffee you use...I primarily use French Market, which has chicory, which sometimes can be bitter tasting, if you let it steep for long. The other brand is Community and sometimes I make Cafe de Olla coffee.

My husband doesn't like change. At all. He likes Folgers breakfast blend. It's ok but not really my preference.

Thanks, you're too kind. I felt terrible that I didn't have time to decorate it for him so I used a rainbow of colored candles on it. He said it's the taste that counts, future foodie I'm sure.
