:lau nope, no idea how that rumor started :p :lau

But okay, to be fair, I usually do eat like shit. And I may have mentioned fast food myself recently :lau but I cut out true fast food a while ago because it always made me feel like crap whenever I ate it but I do still eat terribly. Lots of processed stuff and just terrible eating (and sleeping) habits. For example, I don’t go to bed until 12 (midnight) most nights, often 1 or 2, and then I sleep until 10, 11, 12 sometimes. Sometimes later if I stay up later. Now, thankfully, usually lately, I don’t sleep past like 10 or 11, and/or I just get up rather than going back to sleep if I wake up a little earlier, so I don’t usually sleep crazy long now but it’s still bad. And then I often just go straight to the tablet and/or forget to eat for hours so by then I am starving and usually eat junk. Junk is usually in the form of eating out but could also be just a bunch of snacks or a PB&J or something equally totally gross. And I often got to Subway a lot and I usually don’t get moving until like 1, 2, 3, sometimes 4 or 5, or later, so by then I’m usually sick and go there and then I usually don’t eat anything else because that’s usually breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all in one, and I stay at the Subway a while eating and using the tablet. And what I usually get is steak & cheese or tuna but I stopped getting the steak & cheese because depending on who makes it, it’s not always very big, and it’s not that good anyway and more expensive, but for a while last year I was getting it like daily, now I usually get tuna most times I go in there. And I always get it on the Italian herb&cheese bread which is really just Italian (white) bread with some shredded cheese and herbs thrown on top of it when they bake it. But basically same thing as white bread and I put American cheese on it but I never get any vegetables on it and always get the two “rainbow gem” (m&m) cookies and either a bottle of water or the fountain drink lemonade. And I usually eat that multiple times a week. So I guess that maybe counts as fast food? And/or not a rumor? Because that is total shit but in my mind it is slightly better than true fast food but probably not my much. There was a period a few weeks ago where I got Five Guys like every day for a week and on vacation in February I got a lot of the junky burger place type stuff. And the milkshake. But idk, I consider all those more fast casual than fast food? But I guess it’s the same thing, idk. I used to go to Panera Bread a lot too and they are healthier but I don’t really like Panera very much anymore. But anyway, very long story short, I eat like shit and often only one true meal a day, but not necessarily “fast food”, if that makes sense. But when I went to the cabin this weekend, FSIL basically made me eat healthy :lau but I didn’t argue and ate it and actually kind of enjoyed it. And not to be gross or TMI but it helped me, um, go to the bathroom more regularly, which I sometimes have issues with and don’t always go every day, so I decided that I would make a conscious effort to be healthier when I got back. Or at least eat one healthy thing with the junky thing. Hence the salad and yogurt with the sandwich. I also exercised way more when I was there just because I could. I snowshoed a lot. I haven’t been quite as good about the exercise part yet but I only just got back last night. But I want to work on improving that too. And when we were driving through all the mountains and stuff, I also decided I want to start hiking more. So I am getting there. And another big reason, or even one of the biggest, is that I also don’t like how a lot of my clothes & favorite shirts don’t fit me/barely fit/are way tighter and how huge I look in the mirror and I made the mistake of weighing myself after noticing that, so I really want to lose weight too.
A diet like that will probably kill you.;)
 
Not a novel but seems more like stream of consciousness writing. You are very good at it!

Thank you, Ron!! I appreciate that!! That is definitely how I tend to write, even though it’s often kind of subconscious, idk if that’s the right word. Sometimes I don’t mean to write such long things and then get carried away, other times I do mean to, and want to, but either way, I think I definitely it’s probably definitely the stream of consciousness thing. Which I definitely appreciate you saying because I have had a few people get mad/annoyed or say I’m annoying because I ramble forever/never really have a point to my stories and/or have a million points and no clear main point, etc. thankfully, it wasn’t really anyone from here, and it was a while ago, several years, but it definitely wasn’t the greatest feeling because I do tend to do that but often not even on purpose, or really something I have control over, and I am also a bit ADD so my mind does tend to wander some, and anyway, after that, I tried pretty hard to go back and edit/proofread my posts/make points and not be “annoying.” Had a few other people tell me I’m annoying too for various other reasons but to be fair, a few years ago, I was pretty annoying ha grown since then but still. Anyway, maybe I just need to find the right application for this writing.

We did writing like that when I took a creative writing class. It was fun!
 
Not really. DH of course can't remember that it even is my B-day. My friends from work took me out to lunch and that was very nice.

And, of course, all my BYC Cafe friends wishing me a happy birthday was special too! :)

My own mother hasn't even called and likely won't. She didn't last year either. I come from a pretty messed up bunch. I've done so much for her since Dad died but she can't even remember the HELL I put her through 50 years ago!!! Go figure. :rolleyes:

You’re right, pb&j is amazing!! I love them but it is definitely not the healthiest thing in the world :lau hence the shit designation. Don’t worry, it’s not cause I hate them!! I would eat it for every meal if I could :lau am I forgiven yet? :lau :oops:
