Now it's the other one

I took off work an hour early to come home and work on the coop for a bit. I managed to get the front side of the roof shingles on up to the ridge... while it rained on me... in my work clothes because I was too anxious to change into my workING clothes. I still had my dangling earrings in. I was a stylin' roofer!

Well, goll darn! Still no crown on this tooth, he decided a root canal was in order because the root was infected. I could tell it wasn't right cause it was too sore. Gotta go back next Wednesday for the crown and couple little things besides. :barnie

Aw darn, sorry to hear that Becca. Hope the work on Wednesday goes well :hugs

Pffftt, not much chance of that then.:(
The last time I went to the USA I didn't get further than Boston.

Go west young man! Go west!

Oh, I see. Yes, always better to be safe than sorry. We always recommend people getting their wells tested if they've been sitting for any length of time. Bacteria loves stagnant water. :sick

I lol'ed at the kids licking tables :gigDidn't know you could over sanitize!

I was telling an employee about the extra-strength sterilizer last summer and laughing about the kid's licking tables. She informed me that her child was a licker when she was little...that kid would like anything and anyone. UGH! :gig

I think that's Debby's way of saying she's a great cook! ;)

I do alright, people keep coming back! Come and find out for yourself bro!

Boy, they have those begging faces worked out, don't they? :lau

Great, now all women are going to want to glam up to do roofing. What's the world coming to.

Not really related but on the subject of licking.... Libby (one of DB&FSIL’s dogs) is a major licker. She will lick you anything and everything like you said. The table, your leg, hands, arms, face, the wall, floor, her bed, whatever LOL the joke around call her lickies/lickys (not sure on spelling) instead of Libby sometimes :lau Franklin will kiss you if you get your face close enough but he’s not a compulsive licker like Libby :lau

I rarely leave an animal at the veterinarian's office over night. I prefer to return them to their home environment - just tell me what needs to be done, and I will do it. I too would go there and get my bird.
You would be proud of me Sour, I went and got him. I kept getting okie-doked on the phone so I took @CapricornFarm 's advice and just showed up. All they were doing was giving him an electrolyte/ vitamin (expensive poultry nutri drench) orally and cefazolin injections subcutaneously twice a day. I had hubs take some crumbles to the while was at the dentist. They were feeding him f****** lettuce, and had not changed the paper in the carrier I brought him in where they were keeping him! Found all this out when I showed up unannounced. So now I have the antibiotics and other stuff here. Let him hang out in the yard for about 15 minutes while I cleaned his carrier and he ate crumbles and some scratch grain steadily while he was out. I scrambled an egg and brought him in to eat it inside and he ate 2/3 of that.

I'm getting set to give his injection and electrolytes and have a rubber catheter in case I need to tube any fluids into him. He still is weak and very thin, but I'm going to give it my best effort.

Wow that is ridiculous!! If it was me I think I would refuse to pay for that. Sounds like they didn’t do anything for him!!!
