A good breakfast does set the tone for the day. It does not have to be too involved and is worth the extra time in the morning.I read recently that you should eat like a king for breakfast, a prince for lunch, and a pauper for dinner, or something to that effect. I might be getting the phrases wrong. But the idea is that if you eat a lot in the morning, you have all day to work it off as opposed to eating a lot at night. Most people do just the opposite of that haha I admit I am very guilty of it myself and most days don’t even eat breakfastoften I only eat once a day then just snack a bunch in between because I eat so late
but I’ve been trying to eat breakfast more. Not just because of that but I also get kinda physically sick as it gets later in the day and I still haven’t eaten by 2 or 3 ha and then I am starved and eat junk. So I am trying to be better. Now, I need to be better about actually making it be breakfast and not brunch at like 11, 11:30 but still
and clearly I did not follow the pauper thing for dinner either with that and with a muffin as a snack several hours after at like 10
but it is some progress at least hah
