Well one of my turkey poults had to be put down. Thought he/she had a slipped tendon so I took he/she to the vet and discovered that it was actually broken in the joint. Vet asked if I wanted to put it down and I said yeah but I’d rather be the one to do it. No idea what happened. He was fine a week ago.

I know!

I am off to get lunch soon...while east cost folks are thinking about dinner!

I actually feel terrible about it. I have three turkeys now, two bronze and one white. Good news is that I know the one white who is alive seems to be male. He was strutting around. They are the same size as my RIR.

I've got an early girl in one and I believe a cherry tomato in the other. I'll have to check my tags. I looked at so many before deciding, I've forgotten which ones I chose. They are both 50-60 day maturing....I think.

I’m going to try. I’ll purchase an incubator in the near future. Since they are heritage turkeys and not broad breasted they should be able to breed.

Other good news is my pond stock came in today! 500 3” bluegill, 100 4” catfish, 50 4” bass

Goodmorning cafe. Took the last cup of coffee so there's some more perking.
Finally got the old ignition switch off the lawn mower. Just needed a bigger hammer.
