Shad wish I could send you our unrelenting thunderstorms- without the lightning. Some areas in the city had 2 -3 inches of rain yesterday. No standing water out here except for neighbor across the street. His driveway is lower than the street (duh!) so it's always underwater, even if he is just watering his grass.

Morning! Yes, DS@ is a hotshot and is currently down by the Grand Canyon. He wanted to be a smoke jumper but then met and had to work "with" a team up in Oregon and when he came back from that assignment, he had nothing positive to say about that crew. I think a bit of arrogance and snippiness had something to do with all of that. But I am sure there are good crews out there, he just ran into a not so friendly one.
I hope the fires miss you. Not a fun situation to be in
