We lost a giant pine in our yard years ago to the beetle. It went from fine to dead in a blink. We had to rush tree people out here to get it out because we feared it would fall on the neighbors house. Talk about your unexpected expenses.

Interesting. Never have tried a quail egg! Just finally tried a (small) bite of goose egg the other day. Not sure why I can't wrap my head around eating anything but chicken eggsfor meat and eggs!
