So @ronott1 what roaster are you using pray tell

I have a used gene cafe roaster that I bought used years ago on ebay.

This is a picture of a new one:



I like that I can replace parts on it.

I started out using a hot air popcorn maker and then had a nesco roaster. This is my third since 1985. Next time I need to get a new one, it will likely be a Behmor

I can't believe the commercial producers don't know how to do it properly.

Yeah, I agree. I think everyone’s to quick to be all black and white or generalize genders/people these days haha sure theres good and bad of both like you said. My current one is male and he’s really good. But yeah, I think a lot of people tend to just stick with one doctor for whatever reason rather than try to find a new one.

It is easier because you have history with a current doctor. With a new doctor you have to start all over.

That is a good one!

Most of the coffee beans that were roasted whole beans at the time were burnt. I also save a lot of money and have better coffee this way.

I do have a suspicion that you know that though

Today was quite a different picture temperature-wise...high of 86, it's 54* now and raining. Tomorrow is anyone's guess

I used to quite fancy living on a boat.

No, don't do it! I lived with my brother & his wife on a 46' sailboat for 3 months in 2010. Saw some great sights (the Bahamas, crossed the Florida Straits and sailed the Intercoastal Waterway all the way from south FL to New Jersey). BUT, that trip took way too much diplomacy on my part

It said 104° at the bank when I drove by this evening. Highest I saw here was 96.6°, but then I was busy outside a lot. Sun is going down, time to go out and check the birds.
