We haven't had any since June.

We caught up a bit in June was wetter than normal even early july

I think we used up most of our rain last month . Hasn't been trying much this month. I am determined NOT to haul hoses out. The only things I had outside were hosta and the young buck ate them to the ground.

Have 1/3 acre that was grass now more like weeds,weeds,weeds with a few strands of grass poking up. I just don't care anymore. I have BYC and can keep up with the stuff
other folks are doing. Good enough for me. Just too many things competing for $$$ and attention. I've been doing the bulk of the hard stuff myself for too many years.

I guess that's what happens when you are an old, arthritic lady.

We have had a very wet year so far. It was very wet and cold all May and even into like mid June and then since then it’s been mostly mid 80s with a few 90+ days and one really hot weekend but still plenty of rain. Been raining a lot oddly. For the first time in years we have grass in most of the yard instead of dirt and mud wasp holes

The front is still largely weeds and there’s a few little places of dirt right next to the chicken coop mostly in places I walk a lot (coop and run entrances and in front of nest boxes) but usually there is a huge strip all including the side yard going to the back yard and along the coop. All dirt and mud wasps. This year the little suckers have moved elsewhere and we have our lawn back.

My phone keeps freezing when I try to take a video but this storm is crazy right now. There’s a literal river flowing down the parking lot and crazy lightning.
