Good morning, Cafe.
Made it through without losing power and no tree damage. Whew!
Winter arrived on the heels of the rain/wind. It's cold out there. And the wind is still here just not as strong.
My chicken dilemmas continue. Annie, the Ancona with the slow crop, is now locked in the broody crate. I hope that Biting Brittany, the PBR that went broody, stays off the nest today. I have hopes that Annie's crop will empty today or tomorrow with her Dulcolox / warm water / crop massage treatments. She's got one hell of a fight in her; lethargic she is NOT. I just don't know why her crop is slow so that is a bit of a concern.
Then there's poor Draco. Still very unsteady on her feet. She really wanted to roost with the flock last night but I kept her in the brooder.
This was her at the end of the day.

This seems like a vicious molt to me. I may post in the ER forum for additional thoughts on the weakness if I can get a video of her walking.
