BYC Café

I haven't seen rain come down this hard since the flood of 2011 which was the most catastrophic flooding this area has ever recorded. That was a three day sustained rain. This isn't supposed to last nearly as long so we shouldn't get river flooding.
But, we have severe flash flood warnings popping up left and right and very strong gusts of wind. I am certain trees are going to come down. I just hope none of them are near me. There are a few near the coop and run that have me worried and I likely will not sleep well tonight.

Sour, I spent 10 years doing yard maintenance. I spent 2 years delivering pizzas. I managed to stay out of trouble during the years I worked at the barn (anyone who knows horse people knows what I mean). I worked an entire Christmas season doing free gift wrapping in a department store without killing either a customer or my fellow elves. My kid is "on the spectrum." I think I can deal.

I think you can see why it was my favorite place to be between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Yes, I most certainly can :)
