BYC Café

Good morning, Cafe. I'll pass on the coffee and food but both sound great.
Rough night. Gagging coughing woke me up about every 2 hours. If that didn't wake me up, I had to get up to pee because I'm pushing so much fluids.
I've declared all out war on this cold!! I've got ionic silver nasal spray, zinc lozenges, menthol cough lozenges, DayQuil, Musinex with guaifenesin, 1000 mg of vitamin C twice daily and glass after glass of water.

That cold doesn't stand a chance Dobie

Hope you're feeling better asap!

Morning! Thanks for the coffee. My last silly injury was on the kicksled that my neighbor built and DS$ and I were hauling fast down a hill and for some reason or another, he bailed off the sled to the left, the sled went right, and I went straight and jacked up a few ribs but it didn't help that I was laughing or maybe it did. Still here! I was on BYC at the time so I am sure I wrote something
about it. :lau
I hope you get to feeling better, DL and the week can go as planned. Everyone have a great day!
We are off to wrestling practice and a family dinner. My DS! and wife are visiting in the area for a wedding and we are meeting them for a short visit. It should be entertaining as always!

I've been teaching mel's chicks not to cross the raised black line I have on the floor between my bedroom and the rest of the house.
I used to have a small amperage electric current running through a wire under the tape; not enough to shock, but enough to detect.
None of the adults cross this line (well very very rarely) and the chicks naturally watch were the adults go.
O must admit, I feel a bit of a fool pointing to the line and telling the chicks they are not allowed to cross it, explaining that that is my perch space having steered them to the permitted side.
The strangest thing is it seems to be working.:lol:

Those are some mannerly chicks you have there Shad

One day I was trimming hooves on one of my goats. Suddenly she jerked her leg and the shears ripped my leg open! I continued until I finished her hooves( don't let her get away with it) . My neighbor showed up and was horrified to see the blood running down my leg. I went into the house and sewed myself up. Just couldn't see wasting the day in the ER. I think my neighbor almost passed out.
