Boy are my peeps growing like weeds in the silkie coop think most my older hens have quit laying looked at what I have today mostly the younger ones I have so come spring the 5 speckled sussex will be welcome and the two blue cochins

Always good to have the young ones taking up the slack.
 
My late father always made blackened toast. Reminded me of the 3 Stooges . Moe used to say he'd like burnt toast and a rotten egg. He had a tapeworm and said it was good enough for him.

I haven't burned anything within the last day or so but, when I went to use the microwave, found fossilized cornbread in it. Must have been in there a few days and I forgot about it.
 
Saw the movie about Mr.Rogers today. Really good! Tom Hanks channeled him to perfection- almost spooky!! But by the end of the movie I was ready to barf, so much sweetness. One character said to Mr.Roger's wife," I bet he is hard to live with." Her
expression told it all.
