Fabio had a backwards flying lesson tonight. NOT my fault. I swear! There really is such a thing as a knee jerk reaction. He never actually got to the point of flogging me, he was just overflowing with attitude.
So after stuffing raisins in his face, I punished him further by making him baby sit the kids tonight. One of the girls crammed herself under him and almost knocked him off the roost. She then started with the placating cooing and he just stood there and let her stay.

Ha ha ha!!
She's still under him. He's not going to get any sleep tonight. Give me crap will ya?!

I can't wait to get mom moved in. She'll be 1.3 miles and 3 minutes away!

That's great. We fixed up Mom's house after Dad died. Did a lot of work putting Travertine tiles in. And had new fronts put on the kitchen cabinets.

We had storms from Hades tonight my broody is happy as heck in her broody coop .. Like I said the storms have been awful rolling in and out zapped a tree limb good landed by our walk ...

We had a huge tree limb fall across the road the other day.

That's great. We fixed up Mom's house after Dad died. Did a lot of work putting Travertine tiles in. And had new fronts put on the kitchen cabinets.

I'm gutting the best room in the house - the bathroom!

I am removing the fiberglass tub/surround unit and installing just a 32x60 shower stall with grab bars instead, installing a bathroom fan and a recessed light over the shower stall and tiling the floor and the walls up to about 48". I can't do Travertine. I used that as a backsplash in dads house and a previous flip. It's gorgeous but expensive.
The cabinets in mom's kitchen are in great shape and have solid wood boxes and doors, they're just butt ugly. I'm going to paint them. I did that at my last flip and the difference was amazing. She's getting granite counters and brand new appliances.

I'll bet your parents are grateful that you can do all you do for them!
Your truly a blessing for them.

I took care of my parents for 12 years and enjoyed spending time with them. I still miss them
terribly. Even after 20+ years.
None of my kids are close enough to help me or dh when we need it. Sadly.
We live so far from all of them.
