for it went down 40 bucks from stores we have 30 lb tanks for the house our 5 all seem to be empty so will go fill one or two

Good morning, Cafe. Thanks for the coffee, Shad, and sorry to read about the heat wave. I started sweating just thinking about it.
I'm having a heck of a time getting my unemployment claim submitted for the work share. And because so many people are on unemployment, I don't even get put in a que to wait for someone to talk to. I just get a recorded message stating to 'try your call later' and they disconnect. Like I have time AT WORK to be calling them all day. And I certainly am not doing it when I'm not at work as I'm even busier outside of work.

I have read about problems getting signed up for unemployment!

nice cool morning here with a cool breeze.

had a nice short trip over the weekend. But the ac froze up. We need to find some to fix it and meet them up there.

Chicks are doing great in their coop. They love the room they have.

It is warming up here!

I am sorry about the AC. That can be pricey depending on the part needed

Trained dogs early, filled some rabbit feeders, sitting in front of the computer now, going to give dogs fresh water and then fertilize flowers and tomato plants. One shower so far today and predicting two more.

Lots of stuff to do!

I replace a couple more 15amp sockets on a 20 amp circuit today. One was outside and corroded and cracked in the middle!

I need to buy some more 20amp sockets LOL!

an unqualified success - wish I discovered this process earlier in life!
So we had the turkey thighs and drumsticks left over from the Christmas bird, which we had crowned this year. They've been in the freezer till now. Thawed and then brined with some molasses and Tabasco sauce as well as salt, then roasted in a smoker bag. Delicious And moist!

Brining can make a big difference in older birds for sure

This morning, the forecast was for mostly sunny with a high around 90°. Around noon, they included a slight chance of showers or thundershowers (20%). Naturally, we had to get thunderstomped earlier this afternoon; now it's looking like it wants to do it again before the day is done.

Is it any wonder I can't stick my nose out the door without getting pounced on by hordes of mosquitoes?
