That's great you found him a new place to go! I'll bet Millie will feel much better.
MMHMM... kind of like winner winner... I am going to be over run with cockerels soon enough.. 11 in the run or 'outside now (5 I know are pullets for sure).. 9 weeks old. 5 in the brooder, 5 in the incubator and 11 of Bruiser's lady's eggs in the spare room keeping cool. I won't hatch all 11, maybe 5. Still working on the crosses.

Ya know. I'm gonna put Henri and his two ladies in that run with the chateau. Henri is such a sweetie pie. You would think he'd protect his #1 breeding hen, but noooooo.. he protects poor little old mollie.. She's still a raggedy mess. Finally after months she's getting in some feathers in the saddle area, but nekid neck is still nekid. Three of the hens rebounded pretty quickly once I got them, Mollie is a turtle on the rebound. Both Sweet Pea and Mollie luuuuuuv Henri.

Do you have any troubles finding new homes for them? Is there a Mollie and a Millie or is it just Mollie?

There's Maggie, Millie, and Mollie as well as Sweet Pea. They are all black hens, with black legs, combs and skin.
I now have someone who will take my excess cockerels.. Found him on a FB group for S.E. Alabama Chickens. Chalk another one up for @CapricornFarm . She was the one who suggested I look for local groups on FB.
I'm personally not up to the task of 'culling' or 'processing' the guys. I didn't get them for that. Started with 6 chicks from TSC . 3 were supposed to be BR pullets. Ha! Every single one was a cockerel.. then 3 black asian chicks that all turned out to be Black Sex Links, 2 of them cockerels. Then went and got the 4 black hens that were 'retired' from a farm at 41 weeks of age. So you see, it's Chicken math.. Of course that's not including the 11 I got from a local breeder. Both marans turned out to be pullets, one BO pair, and 3 of the EE's turned out to be light brahmas, two pullets and one cockerel. The other EE's are boys! So give it to the boys, they have had a run this year! I did get one Bielefelder out of two.. one was an EE.. and I'm undecided whether the one that is Bielefelder is a roo or a pullet at this stage.
