She's always been a 'heavy breather', there's a couple-few of them out there,
but all otherwise active and productive with no other symptoms.
There was some mild respiratory issues long ago(came with my first flock) that may still be hanging around.

No not covid. Just finished the job, well the new construction side. I was ready to come home after 10 months. Just wish I knew why I'm not getting any unemployment.

I'm glad you found it useful Hhl. As someone who keeps heritage breeds in a traditional way, I have found old poultry handbooks most useful, as they speak to the same sort of chickens living in the same sort of environment. My favorite is this one

If you keep modern hybrids in a penned run, you would probably be better off with a modern handbook such as the chickens for dummies one.

Yes should. I don't know what's going on. It's impossible to get through via telephone.

Send mails and letters too. And mention that you tried to telephone and could not get through. They have to respond to mails and letters.
