Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee, HG.
The pullets and cockerel are starting to lose their baby voices. The cockerel, Acer, sounds a bit like a frog. He is the only one ATM that will eat his raisins from my hand. The prettiest sister, Dantela, is getting close. Of course, she has a hard time building up her courage when her brother zips in and takes her raisin.
I'm very surprised how soft these birds are. I've handled dozens of pullets/cockerels and I've never felt anything like this. It's almost like picking bunnies up off the boards. I wonder what that will mean for feather longevity or how well they will hold up to mating.
