GOOD MORNING Cafe!!!! Thanks for the coffee NFC. I will be able to relax and enjoy it this morning instead of using it as a tool.

Skittles has definitely turned the corner! He was very alert this morning and tried to jump out of bed on his own.
Normal morning routine: I let them out to the deck through our bedroom door then I go make their breakfast while they relieve themselves and let them in through the sliding glass doors. So they always blast in knowing breakfast awaits them.
This morning, not only was Skittles trotting at nearly his normal gait, he did the jump-and-spin happy dance because he was getting fed! I've never been so happy to see that.
He still had some incontinence last night but it wasn't the nasty bloody mucous. It looks like very dark brown (bright yellow when you wipe it up) bilious material that is more solid than not. It's probably what was in his GI system when he started vomiting on Friday. Everything was caught on the pad.

It was boredom. WHich is highly annoying as some days I just don't have the energy to keep up with her (being disabled and all). Most days I can keep her entertained, but once in awhile nothing I do satisfies her, LOL!

I put a call into the vet about Skittles incontinence.
I think the urinary part is just due to me pumping him full of water, him still feeling bad and not getting him out frequently enough. He met me at the door when I got back from running Bella and I took him out and he peed.
The vet wants me to give him probiotics and 1/2 tablet of pepto bismol every 12 hours to help with the bowel incontinence but also thinks he just has more healing to do.
I don't have pepto so I called my BIL and he said he'd pick some up for me and bring it up. Great guy. I have probiotics here I can give him. I've got my fingers crossed I can get this under control before my nephew and Nan have to deal with him.

And with all the blood- and poopwork etc. they still don't know what the cause is?

How long do you have before they will deal with Skittles?

I just read on my countys website that because of Avian Influenza all poultry is to be housed as of today. Although there are no cases reported in our county.
