When I was scooping boards this morning a bigger "pile" caught my eye on the coop floor. Since I've unwittingly stepped in more than my fair share of freshly laid land mines I decided to scoop it up.
It was actually a well pecked to death mole. What a way to go.
His buddy that got caught in the mouse trap certainly had an easier death.
I'm rather surprised they didn't eat it.
