Elaine, where are the masks?
I'm still coughing after over 3 weeks. And the ear. Always the plugged ear is on my mind.
The masks protect from a lot more than Covid. I too shed mine. I'll probably go back to donning them when I'm shopping. Thankfully, I don't have to shop that much.

Yes, he had early onset. He started showing symptoms at 59. He'll be 69 in September so it isn't too fast.
A friend of mine from work said he'd run into a friend of his that he hadn't seen for 4 months that had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and he was really bad. He was dead within the next 3 months. I think that's fast.
Alzheimer's comes down both sides of the kids family. They pretty much assume they're going to get it!
My youngest DD took the 23andme test and she has two of the genes for late onset. The stats are 60 to 70% chance of getting Alzheimer's

Did the doctor give you anything other than symptom relievers?
Symptoms are all that can be treated at this time. She said when the virus has completely run it's course the inflammation should subside enough to allow the tube to drain.

The Princess just took a peach kuchen out of the oven - Mom's recipe - it's so good warm that I brought some over. :drool
Warm with a small scoop of real vanilla bean ice cream!

Did she really understand what I said?
Yes!

If I call "Lunch cat!" Rascal (DW's cat) will come from wherever she is. "Lunch cat" means some deli ham will be going in her plate. She also comes to "Treat time!" and "Tuna water!".

Christofur (DD2's cat) will come running at any sound. Don't need to tell him the is food available because he's ever hopeful.

And you, do you have those genes as well or did she get them from your wife?

So they are sure it's a virus?
