Good morning - fresh croissants just out of the oven. Heat and humidity return today.

Joe had to leave to go fix the fryers at the BK where he is the mechanic/handy man. My brain hurts so I've come in for a caffeine jolt... and a hot, fresh croissant with melted Irish butter!

Stacked over a cord of wood but now the rain is starting to come in. We have had so much rain that it is almost necessary to stack it in order for it to dry out again for fall.
Definitely not my favorite chore!
Maybe some chai will help the hurt brain, DL. I will whip some up!

I layed down actaully layed down slept a hour.
Never aquired a taste for Chai.

I slept in today. I took care of the chickens at 6:30, went back to bed, and got up at 9:45. That felt good!

Then I weeded the asparagus patch on my hands and knees for 4 hours. My wrists are going to ache tomorrow, I bet. Oh well. The patch looks beautiful now. Next is hauling the lovely pile of compost over to it and spreading that around.

We might get rain tomorrow. I really hope so. I'd like an indoor project for a day, like clean out my closet. If I do, DH will install a new light and build me some shelves, like he has in his closet.

Intend to watch the news at 5 one of the guessers even mentioned rain? We could use it ..
We had enough leading into summer we are not in drought ..
I sprayed cool water on the birds yard a few of them got hit..
