BYC Café

Have you caught any more of them?
I'm assuming you keep the trap set and baited.
:oops:Um... no. I did it while DH was gone. (Shhhhhhh!) I was hoping to get the raccoon that had set up shop in the old garage. Caught two raccoons, but not *that* raccoon.

He's against trapping/killing?

Yes, and no. He doesn't see either ground hogs or raccoons as the pests they are. Mostly because we don't suffer any large loses from them.

I'd like to keep the population down before it gets to that.

No Chucky, I hate Steven King :lau
Chucky is not a Stephen King story.

Stephen king has written books that are not horror that are very good.

Lises Story is one of them. It is also a series on apple tv.

I really like some of his short stories too. "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption" was the basis for the movie, Shawshank Redemption. One of my favorite movies.

The horror ones though<shudder> I guess those are good too, can't read them anymore.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

The tree did damage the roof of the coop. I didn't notice it until it rained yesterday. The floor in the brooder room was wet. THEN I noticed where one of the outriggers ripped away from a rafter and a small hole in the roof decking.
My friends husband is coming out tomorrow and we'll get it off. He is the one that helped get the trunk of the poplar out of the back yard that the empty promising neighbor said he'd do about 6 weeks before it was finally done. I'm so finished with him.
I've got extra shingles and polyurethane sealant I can patch the roof with.
