Hi everyone. I don’t feed raw meat to my dog but we do make her food fresh. I would be concerned about raw meat from the store. Where do you get yours? Your own flock and livestock?

Where do you get yours?

Primarily from a raw feed co-op that uses local farmers/butchers that supply the meat/bone/organs. The current batch of organs came from a deer that was taken 2 days prior.
And I have fed raw meat from the grocer without issue. I just stopped feeding it years ago because life got too busy and overwhelming.

As happy as I was to get that snow off the drive, now am seeing the damage from the plow.
Not too terrible but some spots are bad and will have to be 'fixed' before I try to run my rig over them.

It's 3°C (or 37°F) outside with little wind - quite nice actually despite being on the darker side with cloud cover at the moment. Tonight we are going down well below freezing again, but there is not much snow in the forecast. It's been a very dry fall.

Good morning! DS$ is home for a few days. It is good to hear the stories and DH will get a chance to see the real mat-side videos from the wrestling so far. It might as well be Christmas in his world! Off to do some firewood while the temps cooperate.
