I hope that dog is euthanized. What a horrible thing to happen.

The dog has been euthanized and brain analyzed for rabies - not rabid - just a human aggressive dog that was not handled properly.

Eat too much, watch football. (Watch the Lions lose. Though they looked good today.)

The menu never varies: Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, and cranberry. And I make DH a lemon meringue pie for dessert.

I retreated to rural Nova Scotia for the weekend - want nothing to do with the craziness of Black Friday in the city over the weekend. Haha. There is snow on the ground outside, but we're getting rain tomorrow and the next day. The plan is to process some chickens this afternoon as we pair the coops down for winter (we're raising White Bresse - and have about 35 right now though we are only looking to have a flock of 10 for overwintering).

@sourland I'm so sorry to hear about your granddaughter. People have to be more responsible, both with how they care for and train their dogs, as well as where they source them from... I hope healing goes well with no setbacks.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee. All are finally up in this house. Grand daughter's 7 month old labradoodle is a sweetheart. NO, there will not be another dog here.

We went on our usual walk to the stop sign this morning. That's about as far as I'm going to get away from home this weekend, I think. We have gobs of food, so we're all set for a while.
