Good morning Cafe, We had snow like 10 minutes then the rain killed it.
Now it is just cold.

@aart are just about in the same boat.

Close, you're probably about 60 miles north of me, but I'm closer to the lake.
Mostly rain here, front deck is not slick but I see some haze on the tree branches and fence wire.

For geographically so close, @aart and I can have really different weather.

The power's still on, yay.

Our power went for like 2 hours it was so nice and quiet..

Good morning Cafe. Coffee IS ready!!

I had a nasty scare this morning... I had to push the button on the coffee maker THREE times before it started to brew!!!

DL, you need back-up. Stat!
It has warmed up to 7F. Now I am waiting for my coffee. I saw -9 F last night before bed and the winds from a few days ago hit 93mph. Now that Orca is back, that will be nothing! One elderly neighbor lost a big Doug Fir but I will deal with that tree in the Spring, no rush.
I am hoping the ice storm left our Cafe alone and there is nothing to complain about!
I am off to bring hot water to the horse trough and break ice.

We lucked out on the storm. I'm surprised we did not lose power; that mess is way south of us. I'm also glad I don't have to go anywhere. There's about 1/16" of ice on everything. Enough to make driving dangerous. But not enough to take down branches and trees.

As I said, we lucked out. Whew.
