Good afternoon everyone! Packing up for a second long drive across the country! Bringing the last of DHs stuff west along with his truck. It's a hot one out there unfortunately and I think I have a sciatic flare, but I shall survive.

Was out with whales yesterday again and it was so nice to see them one last time this summer! I'll be back next year again for more fieldwork, and time will go by fast!

Our Sammy Jo/ Rottweiler is afraid of thunder. Made my own thunder shirt from an old tank top. Really helps.

I heard some thunder last night. With the fan and the AC running, it's not very loud. Freya seems entirely unperturbed by thunder.
