This country is amazing with the varied weather from one end to the other. We are 77 degrees, full on sun, no clouds, no breeze, nothing is moving, not even the chickens. Be careful in the wet slippery stuff y'all.

Good Morning Everyone. I am having a strong cup of coffee. I woke up just 30 minutes late and my chickens were screaming, and killing each other to get out of the coop. I can only ran as fast as I can to them, then suddenly light rain for just 10 minutes to make everything messy, yuky and uncomfortable just for fun as how mother nature enjoys it. I have a beef with mother nature lately.
We had a lot of rain for a week, imagine the chicken runs with all that water. We had 2 days of dry weather and here come another rain.
I will try to think positively now...think positive thought....

Frozen vegetables the winner in my book.
I find frozen vegetables are heavenly on a day when I feel uninspired, lazy, or just simply so tired. All I have to do is take out the frozen vegs from the freezer, pour them in hot water and there go vegetables intake for the day.
The frozen vegs I got is a mix - green beans, corn, carrot and snow peas. It is just as the doctor ordered, eat rainbow vegetables.
Bonus: Frozen Vegetables are cheaper to fresh one as well, it is less work to prepare and it can be mixed in with any dishes.

My favorite thing to put in chicken pot pie! Open a bag, dump them in!

I never have.
Was raised on frozen veg, canned veg tastes terrible to me.
Of course fresh would be best, but not always a viable choice.

I'd rather have fresh turkey too, but no fresh parts at the store, except stuffed breast(YUK). So I bought a frozen drum stick.
Time will tell but I should at least be able to get enough drippings to make gravy.

The blue line is moving up. Got my run roof prop stick material on standby, should be able to get the cut and installed today.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

Yesterday, I went to pick up the home gym I bought before I left for Alaska. I hitched the trailer and then thought, "I shouldn't need it, they disassembled the gym". So I backed it up back into it's parking spot. But boy it was super hard to see because the sun was right in my face when I was looking back and my rear window is pretty dirty from salt spray.

Once in position, I chocked it, dropped the jack and opened the coupler sleeve... and kept getting a little zap when I touched the bolt. Oh crap! My wiring harness must have a short! So I pulled the leads apart and went back to the pin. Zap, zap, zap... you stupid nimrod. I backed the trailer right up to the chicken's fence and the pulses were going through the metal frame.
Smooth move.
Aaaand.. I did need the trailer because they didn't take apart the entire frame. So I'll be heading out to get the rest of it this morning.
