BYC Café

Good Morning All.
I had my 2 coffee this morning already, just one after the another. We had big rain last night, and this morning the sky is cloudy, high humidity, so hot already and more rain later.
I pray for the rain to rain in the big brush fires in Melbourne.

I have been having a beef with mother nature for sometimes now, but when I read comments about mother nature here is making me laugh so much. Thank you for the laughter. :)
Making another coffee!

Good morning and thanks for the coffee!
I slept in... late night with a long drive...
3 grandkids is a lot of energy! Phew!
It is above freezing here with a fresh coating of snow and the magpies told me that there was a visitor just a bit ago...

This is a pic of the right side prints. If you notice in this pic, the rear print (the one on top of the other one) is to the inside of the front foot print, and that means that this is a male bobcat. He is a bit young and not full sized yet. A rear print offset on the outside of the front print indicates a female animal, aka wider hips for birthing.
The trick is finding tracks that are in a straight line as making a turn or veer can change the placing of the tracks. LOL! All 4 footed animals have this, which is good to know when you have a bull or cow tag, fyi.
Okay, DS$ is getting dropped off to his ride and it has been a blast having him home! He gets to hang out in the same city as his old wrestling club for a summer internship, we just found out. Fun!
Enjoy the day, Cafe!

Very interesting! Thank you!

First egg since they all went on hiatus! I think it's from Middle.

This picture is from December 18.

When I was out doing scooping duty, Little was looking at the nest box, acting like, "I know there's something I need to do here... what was it?" So maybe she'll be back to work soon too. Her comb and wattles are plump and red.
