It is Friday and 8:30am over here. Inside my house now is 12C=54F, I have runny nose due to this cold, 4 cook plates are running, slow cooker and so is the oven. The kitchen is the warmest spot in the house.
I think one of the hens that look a bit off must be the one that laid the 2nd no shell egg, I gave her a calcium tablet. Her vent looks moist compare to the others are dried, they are not laying eggs. Watching, and investigating.

He told me it was to my left, up the side road. So I turned up that way and there he was! Big beautiful black bear. Looked to be in the 200# range. He walked off into the woods going away from my

Speaking of bears... I got a call from C last night. He was about 400 yards down the road and asked me, "what do I do if there is a bear blocking the road and it won't move?"
