It is still pouring down rain here.

Got a call from my sister at 3:50am that water was starting flood and going down the hallway in the basement of the Courthouse. (I got her a job working as Dispatcher at the Sheriff's Office where I work) I told her to call the County Clerk and wake her up so they could get down there with wet vac and take care of it. Last year it was a real mess lots of water damage to items in the Extenision Office just down the hall and shorted out their phones and some of the outlets. Can anyone say Insurance???

Boy am I glad I live on top of the highest hill in our county. I may feel like I'm on an island here soon.

Glad DH has a boat up here we may need it if we have to go some where, He has to row, the oars don't fit my hand...

Well not yet, it's not quite that bad. We do have a few roads closed due to flooding.

And I am sure there are some of you who are in worst situation. So I hope you are all safe.

I will keep you in my thoughts and hope you get out of bed without getting your feet wet.

6:56am Just checked our rain gauge it was over flowing we have had since 8am yesterday over 6 inches of rain. Saw a 5 gal bucket was almost full out there so thought would check the gauge. Quack Quack

well I am sogie but not soaked just yet.

I have put everyones coops on cement blocks to help keep little feathered footies dry. And I am now really considering the crocheting like jackets for them! lol. the hard rain hasn't hit yet but DH is being brave and taking us to fort smith today as a treat. So I am packing the swimsuits and floaties! well I am off gals try to stay dry and if not drink a pina for me. take care gals and god bless and keep you safe. Maw.

Hey Girls I know I'm crazy,

but look at the Sunflower lapghan pattern I found. I was looking for a pattern to make my niece a sweater and found this it is so pretty.
