Maw, I sure know what ya mean about sitting and watching the joy that life has given you. It is surprizing the small things that can make you happy.

It takes us the time to slow down and see the people and nature around us to make us realize the gifts God has in store for us all. And even nicer if we know how to appreachate them.

Just make sure he has a BYC bumper sticker on his car so we can spot him right away.
I only have one square done for the LB CAL, I am doing that with LB Pound of Love, not much call for wool down here would only be able to use something that warm about 2 weeks total in a year, the one square looks real nice, once I finish my swap squares, I will work on the CAL afghan, then on the squares/octagons... for the spring swap.

Good Morning everyone, Hope you all had a great weekend. Me I am just starting my weekend. I get 4 days each week as I work weekends and have all week off. Scoot those chicks are sooo sweet! You always get the coolest graphics. You all are doing such great things with those needles and hooks. I must get motivated and try more new things. Smitty I got the pattern you sent me , Thanks so much , it was so easy and I did 2 of them right away. Redhen - Wendy I am waiting on that second page for the pattern, I did the first page , pretty easy too and now I can't wait for the second page!!! Karan did you ever figure out the sunflower pattern? Well everyone have a great day and I will talk to you this evening. Hey there, ladies! Wanted to pop in and say a big "howdy" to everyone!

Lots going on here in my neck of the woods. DH and I bought a tractor (used) last Friday, so he played with it this weekend. And I do mean "played". LOL He was like a little kid! He even mowed the yard even though it really didn't need it. LOL Men!

I'm still canning and doing work around the house. This weekend, I canned 7 quarts of tomatoes and 6 quarts of applesauce. Today, I've canned 7 quarts of tomatoes so far, and I have about 11 more to go.

I've been getting about 2 eggs a day for the last 2 weeks, and yesterday I got 3!!

As far as crocheting goes, I've not been able to pick any up in about 3 weeks now!

I'm dying to be creative again, but don't have the time. I do have about 26 regular granny squares done, so I've just got a few more to go.

OK - gotta get back to my tomatoes! Catch ya later!!

Ok another square swap question

, do all the squares need to be the same? What i mean by this, can some be of baby theme & then some in regular granny square. Don't need any hens raising the roof
