Ahhhh
Can't post picks!
Got the greenhouses... They are bigger than I though... I was told 10' walls, well I though 10' at the peak, nope taller, like 15'... Im imagining growing squash vertically like I do, and needing a massive latter to pollenate and harvest... Lol
I like it... More square footage than my house... Like a greenhouse should be...

Yes I'm a little nuts...
LOVE IT!!! WHat a HUGE green house. Try Farm tek for plastic sheeting options.

So I thought you guys might like to see a size comparison for one of the volunteer squash plants, so here's how big the one in the cattle pen (there was a yearling bull in there for a little while last year) was when I found it about a week ago

Here is a pic I took of it a little while ago

Volunteers are always a good thing. WHat you get though might be useful for human consumption, or just totally odd and good for the chickens!! lol

I think my pineapple guava is going to put on fruit this year!

I know it flowered but I'm not sure if what's left is died flowers or baby fruit.

HAHAHA i love close ups of plants

its too bad your like a bazzillion miles away hennible. i found a roll of some plastic on my scavenges today. idk what kind or anything but it is pristine lol

Roseyred-- oh how lucky you were!!! I suspect that when Hennible looks up how much was saved by getting those frames free, the cost of the plastic will seem very reasonable!! lol

Hennible, Maybe a good reason to set these up as 2 separate systems. Get one covered and in service, then tackle the second one. Just my 2 cents as I know projects can cost more than we would like them to. lol

question for anyone-- how do I get my tomatos to grow faster and get producing faster??? We are so behind with the late winter weather. grr. THe peppers are just siting there since planting. GUess they really dont like being transplanted!

lol i feel ya arielle. i have a cucumber plant that i transferred and i thought it died, decieded to plant some squash there, well now its coming back to life but its so puny. don't think it'll make it hahaha.

Peppers give me fits. I'm trying to figure out something to make them GROW. They are all puny things. From what I've been reading, epsom salts seem to be what I need. The peppers supposedly need more magnesium that the epsom salts will provide. I'll have to try it and see.

That a good point Arielle. There are a few good reasons to set them up as two... My minds not set either way yet...

Well thanks thinking of me roseyred, :)
Its going to be pricey... Oh well, it will pay off... There is a tree nursery that changes their plastic yearly, I could start with that, after all it's free... Can't go wrong lol

Hers a pepper to give a person fits
400

Purple flowers and leaves, and I have no idea what variety it is... Or if it my seeds, a BYC friends seeds or purchased seeds lol
I need to give my peppers some Epsom salts, I usually give everything a bit... Normally I have by this stage of development, but things are a head of the norm this year and it is throwing me off.

My fish emulsion solution has epson salt in it. My peppers and tomatoes have fruit on them now. I am not sure i should feed them any more. I am thinking i am ahead of the game now.
