BYC gardening thread!!

My pumpkins have taken off and are making their way across the garden. I'm not messing with them, I like seeing the vines crawling over everything.

We have two pumpkins, they're real dark green on the vine and should be ready by Halloween.



Both are already the size of most grocery store pumpkins here, they'll be huge when they finish. Corn is kinda wimpy yield this year, but next year will be better since Husband and I will be measuring for weed sheeting in the winter and laying it down in spring.

That's great! I've not found Holy Basil seeds, I don't think. I know the plant has medicinal properties. Where'd you get your original seeds?

Yeah, and there's still sooooo many more flower stalks. From what I've read it's supposed to be one of the best basils for you (it's really good in scrambled eggs) we got our seeds from southern exposure seed exchange, I think bakers has them but I'm not sure, I do know that sow true has them as well. I could probably send you some if you wanted. (As long as you're in the US )
