My understanding is that the seed comfrey is an aggressive spreader. For that matter, the Bocking varieties are aggressive. You'd better not need to move it, once you've planted it!

Yes. My thought right now is to plant it at a woods edge where it can grow to it's heart's content.

What is everyone's favorite grape varieties - must be Northern Indiana zone hardy. I'd love some nice seedless. I know the concord varieties work well here but there are many different ones. So...what are your favorites?

We are doing a planter garden this year. We got started too late and between new chickens, an eight year old, and traveling for work, I decided a big garden would be too much. I decided to plant around the chicken run for a few reasons:

1. They can help keep bugs away
2. It will give them some fresh things to munch on too
3. It will help keep predators from being able to dig under

I am also in the process of building some beds inside the coop on the opposite end to plant kale and other lettuces in for the chickens to eat and to keep predators out.

I ran out of dirt though so the rest will have to be done this week

No I have been on about 9 days . Still learning . I was not getting on site notices on some threads I was subscribed to . So I posted on some today . Been gone and then busy . It is going to be a busy summer . Starting to build a cabin/house . So I May not be on much .

Building a cabin, wow sounds like work but the kind you can enjoy forever. Nice!
