@hennibleI bought my suyo long seeds from Southern Exposure Seed Exchange. They have good prices as well. They have a paper catalog or their website is southernexposure.com.
Armenian cucumbers/ melons, huh? Would they make good pickles also?
Did you know that you can make zucchini pickles? I made a few jars last year and they turned out delicious. They made nice big slices ( think one pickle for a sandwich) and stayed surprisingly crisp.

Arminian cucs are firm, they get big ( up to 3') but taste best small the skin is tasty and delicate... Crispy but delicate... I never have any left to can with but I bet they would pickle well. Never thought to make zucchini pickles, I make them into relish but pickling them sounds fun. Thank you I'll be checking that seed company out. :)

I would like more zucchini recipes, especially if I can make pickles from them! I looked the Suyo Long ones too. The actual "pickle" ones always seems to get to fat and seedy to make good pickles.

My favorite has always been zucchini bread, but these zucchini pickles come in a close second. I have never grilled zucchini ,but I have sauteed slices in butter or olive oil.

I grow lots of it... Always too much gotta get creative. Thankfully it freezes well shredded for use in many things down the road

Amen to that! I froze a bunch of shredded zucchini last year. I'm still using it for zucchini bread. Zucchini pineapple bread is my family's favorite! Now I want some. Think I'll bake some tomorrow!
