We probably spend more on our chickens and goats and garden. Than we would to buy it out right. Knowingly we will have surplus eggs dairy fruit and produce. Our families and friends will not want all of it. We hoped to sell it. We don't want to be tax revenuers or eccept government payments for our efforts. I am more than happy to help someone in need. The government is not included in my generosity.

I love my country- i hate my government and it's elected officials. I am going to add a link to this at my home forum for others to read also. I can tell you we have several farm markets in the area. Most are free to swll from. However you have to get a growers. Permit from the County Extension Office- (government)

I have more than I can give away too (with out adding on) Im just running into a lot of road blocks searching for ways I can legally and easily sell my extra food here. There are ways though...

Anyone grow sassfrass? Use to be able to forage it. The parks sort of frown on it now. I am thinking i'd like to plant some, away feom the goats.

No, we bought it in a small pot. But it isn't very tree-like yet.

This pic is taken about a month ago.

Love your set up here, will copy it for my fruit trees, I planted an apple tree last spring but no landscaping around it, this looks fab.

I have a pretty obnoxious list of things I'm currently growing. Thai birds-eye chilis, Romanian Rainbow sweet peppers, sugar snap peas, two kinds of onion, Romanian Red garlic, Hedonis lettuce, Cornichon pickling cucumbers, three types of tomato (Indigo Rose, Roma VF, and Russian Black Sea Man), Golden Bantam corn, Cempazuchil marigolds, Heavenly Blue morning glories, Champignon mushrooms, Mung beans, Mascotte bush beans, and several herbs. I also have some Flander's Field poppies and Texas Bluebonnets. Tried some other seeds but they didn't pan out. Gotta till up the plot and transfer out the corn starts, then it's Three Sisters gardening for those. Belgium has a bit of a late start and an early finish, so most of my varieties are short-season crops.
