Nice. Just started getting female flowers here, I'm very excited it is pretty early for up here.

I repotted my chilis today, they had outgrown their one quart pots. I planted three of them in large pots and left them outside, we'll see how they do. Six of them went in about 2½ quarts of compost and are still sitting inside. My Apache peppers had started flowering already, and I even have two little peppers growing on them, and they were all looking a bit root bound, so it was maybe a bit late for a move, but I think they'll be fine. The addition of nutrients should do wonders for them. They're between 1½ and 2 feet tall at the moment. I put in supports for the ones I left outside as they may need to face some wind out there. It's still a bit chilly outside in the night, I think we're looking at about 45F night temps still but it should start warming up a bit soon. They'll get a lot better light there though, were up to about 18 hours of light by now. The ones outside will probably stop flowering due to the added sunlight they'll be getting. The ones I left inside should be producing pretty well soon, as the sun doesn't hit them until mid day.

All of my tomatoes have moved outside now too. I have 12 pots with different varieties in them, and they all seem to have survived being stuck outside in the cold. There was just no way I could keep them inside anymore, the only spot I had for them was quite high, and they had overgrown the light support and were starting to hit the ceiling. Now they're in 17 liter (4½ gal) pots, in which I built a one gallong water holding space so that I can go longer between watering. I grew a great deal of tomatoes in 8 liter pots last year (with rocks taking up the bottom 2 liters), so the 13 liters of soil they can utilize this year should be more than enough to make them produce a lot. Long time weather projections show a slightly colder summer coming up though, while last summer we had one of the warmest summers in 50 years. Last June was super cold though, so it delayed the start of all growing, I'm hoping we'll get a more even heat this year.

Our onions are coming along nicely, and the fennels moved out in the raised beds earlier in the week. They seem to be doing well too. And I harvested some rhubarb a week ago, enough to make one jar of jam. It was delicious. Soon I can harvest some more.

The parsley root I planted last year seems to finally be growing now, I hope I'll get some nice specimens. It's a delicious root fruit, you can make some nice purees out of it.

I am so happy and proud to say that I finally finished today planting my new garden, in a virgin spot next to the addition we had built on our house. Although we have a large amount of property, we have a lot of trees and, therefore, way too much shade. This new spot has sun most of the day, and also in the heat of the day. I have many plants, so many that I can't even give an accurate count! Something like six tomato plants, five cherry tomato plants, at least six cucumbeer plants, five zucchini plants, and many varieties of peppers, green, red, and yellow bell, and for hot peppers, golden cayenne, tabasco heirloom, jalapino, and bakers hot. Also cilantro and basil, to round out the large garden.

Wish me luck, I have high hopes!!!

That is what my plum is doing. The trunk is getting thicker but it's not filling out or getting any growth on it. 
We are in the black belt between Selma and Demopolis in Perry Co. Pretty close to the Miss. line.
I bought two sand cherry bushes and they are still in pot's also. We grow black berries like crazy and veggies to boot! We are surrounded by catfish ponds and cows. 

Well the problem with my cherry is I think it got canker down by the base (so I can't bridge graft it ) so it doesn't really grow :/ I do have a plum like that though, it's a Santa Rosa it gets thicker but doesn't really fill out here's a pi of it

But my other Santa Rosa is filling out beautifully, both at the trunk and branches, here's that one

And in between those is a scarlet beauty, it's the biggest of the bunch at about 7 feet tall right now. Here's that one.

(I gave them major haircuts early this spring, that's why the branching is so thick)

Nice trees Dan. I will try to get pic of mine later. I am not sure what plum it is I bought it as a fruit cocktail tree from E-burgess and the only thing it grows is plums. Then I bought another one and none of the graft's took so it is a want a be peach that has never produced anything in 4 years. It did get a blue flower last year but that was it.

I took some started pumpkins, cherry tomatoes, watermelon and green beans and planted them in the garden today. Yesterday we got dirt delivered so I could finally fill my raised beds. My plants looked very sad to go outside. I think they liked the climate controlled environment inside. We also put the fencing up around it to hopefully stop things from eating the leaves.

Between that and finishing the coop build I think my brain is on time out.

Oh neat, my dad doesn't like cocktail trees, the closest thing I have is a few Bartlett scions grafted onto a Bradford. Oh
