I think that should be big enough, though I personally have never had much success with tomatoes in pots, think I'll stick with the earth.

Our dirt is crappppp. Full of rocks and super compact...don't wanna build a bed cause I won't be at this home long. Le sigh. Grow tomatoes grow!

Looks like acorn squash to me . My volunteers are starting to bloom also . Looks like mostly gourds . I had zucchini, gourds and yellow straight neck in that area last year .

Well planted one raised bed... Still need to move the other... After I get all the raspberries out... Dug tons out of there, had to pot 32 plants because I seriously underestimated the number...

That should be big enough, lol - make sure it drains though - they like being soaked but not swamped if you now what I mean. Put sticks in so that you tie up some of branches, others will flow over - as for the horse bag would plant potatoes in there with lots of mulch - they grow quite well and don't get so many bugs as if you plant in the ground. There is nothing like a freshly picked tomato.

Since I have had chickens, I collect the poop and add water and use as fertiliser it is amazing - stuff grows even if it doesn't want to

Cool. I'll make some poo tea. I got some burlap fabric from the dumpster and sewed it up the side and across the bottom so it's a long tube. Planted a purple sweet potatoe from the store i there lol! It's already like 2 feet and I can just keep rolling the burlap up and filling in dirt as needed. Is there a time when I should stop filling? I think the bag is about 4 feet tall total.
