I'd hope so, it's tiny though, like about the size of a quarter.I'll bet that would be good.![]()
You know, I'd love to but I don't know if the "Apricot" my dad planted some 15 years or so ago is a peach or an apricot, dad says he planted an apricot, my sister swears she picked peachesWondering if anyone that has Apricot trees might be interested in a swap for a few cuttings in exchange for a few Shag Bark Hickory cuttings? I have some healthy Shag Bark's that I can take pics of to swap for a few Apricot cuttings.![]()
Quote:If you want some Hickory cuttings I can send you some anyways.
I've done a few swaps on different threads so I thought I would try on here.![]()

Nice looking trees. Here are some pics of 2 of my hickory trees if anyone wants some or would like to swap.
I love these nuts. And you can use the bark to make hickory syrup. I made and sold some on BYC bst and sold some to some friends. The syrup is wonderful and a golden color when boiled down and filtered. It has a slight smokey flavor that you would love on your fish or chicken or even pancakes!
Thanks Dan.
And these Hickory are not near the Oaks in the front yard that are dying and falling apart fyi.
