Like I said before - it runs in the family
Good for you guys. I planted gourds one year the big ones, oh boy .... They took over my whole garden. Jeeeeez it was a huge mess.
They even climbed over the fence,on my outdoor fireplace. But till this day I have nice gourds for fall decor.

Thought you'd be interested to know that one of the squash with no growing tip did in fact grow a new one (Actually three)

I haven't yet, Spring is September for us. I thought I might try getting a bit of a jump start though and sowing some in punnets in my little green house then trans planting out come warmer weather. My vege garden has been extended over the last few months and I'm dying for the warmer weather so I can use it.

Do you have any varieties you can recommend?

Corn,peppers,tomatoes,rhubarb,strawberries,canelope,lettuce,cabbage,carrots,spinach(didn't survive),radish/turnips (I forgot which put they didn't survive) TO MANY TOMATOES!!!!!!

I need to plant turnips and Diakon radish . Cucumbers and cherry tomatoes going strong . Still waiting on the slicing tomatoes to ripen . Had 3 so far .
