I ordered some elderberry cuttings from Norm's Elderberry farms in Mo. I won't get them till Jan. I am excited to add them to my farm. I am getting the Bob Gorden and Ranch varieties.

Thanks it took me about 10/15 minutes to make a tipi (after I cut the sticks.)

What a beautiful day! Feels like spring has arrived! I've dug up and potted some daisies cuttings to move round and spread through the garden. Potted up two tiny little oregano plant I found while weeding that had self seeded themselves. Dug up the pathetic onion crop and moved it into a pot, figure it's not worth wasting a whole bed for the 8 or 9 plants that actually germinated so now I can put something else in there. Also moved the three shallots (green onions?) still there from last summer going to seed into a pot so I can get new seed without it holding up the use of the bed. Figure worst can happen is they die.

Then I've added manure to the bed and compost and tweaked my dripper system to have the lines closer together. It worked well last year but needed that tweak. Now I just need spring to really arrive and I can plant out my plants in the cold frame.

All that by 9am! So does that mean I get to spend the rest of Sunday on the lounge?

Thanks It's not as many as I was hoping for but hey, somes better than none and it gives me some fresh seed (which "should" do better than this year's seed which was about 3 or 4 years old. )

I was counting the peppers on one of my poblanos and I counted 23 I guess once they get going they go.
