I could have edited it, but I’m just going to make another post

The person would select the breeds of each, and then it would go to a page with several pictures of what people have gotten from the type of cross researched, including details about leg feathers, egg and feather colors, etc, but simple
enough for a younger person to understand (12?)
We could also have a few pages detailing just color crosses, and some simple explanation about eggs color, comb and a few other basic genetics.

That makes sense.... basic genetics and common breed crosses database. I like that. To make it simpler we could make it more phenotypical, but with the genotypes still underneath?
