Rose Quartz this site has way more than plumage color. I gleaned all my leg color information. And it has earlobes.... look at the menu at top. It leads you to different parts of the long list.

I have been reading along, or maybe scanning is a better word....

I will be more than happy to share pictures of my Welsummers when this project is to that stage.

Anyway, @Rose Quartz I thought I would share this. These are from my Welsummer.

The egg below is from the same bird about three weeks ago.

In comparing to my embroidery thread the color inside would be echru. Or a very pale tan. I had never realized before, that I can see the outline of my fingers through the shell.
