Hi I've been a member for a few months but not active with the forums. am I correct that a newbie needs to make 10 posts before their photo is displayed? New to ckicken raising but our flock of 14 hens and one rooster are doing wonderfully through a classic North Idaho winter. They mostly free roam and love to hang out around the house and glean underneath the wild bird feeders . The girls get quite indignant when we don't let them out on days that are too cold. My dog is behaving himself nicely now after a few problems at first..... Thank you BYC for your fun and informative site.
