I just finished this for a new baby girl joining the family

I know it's been a bit since anyone's posted here but was wondering if anyone here makes baby booties? And what would you charge for a pair like this but an inch longer(5" long).

I realize this has been inactive for a while, but figured I'd bring it back to the surface.

I started making tiny teddy bears. They only take a couple of hours and are great for using up yarn leftovers or for making instead of knitting a gauge swatch. I knit them free-hand so anything goes really. They're pretty easy to give away too.

Cute bears! That is great use for leftover yarn.
I got all excited to see a knitting group; hopefully it's not completely forgotten.

Yes, those bears are sweet, I missed your post before, I don't know why. It's amazing how much personality a little bit of yarn can be infused with.

My project I assigned myself for the year (besides any other projects that strike my fancy) is a cabled sampler quilt. There are so many different, cool cable patterns I want to try, but don't want to commit to a large project with. Each square is about 14"x14".

So I'm making a new square every month with a different cable pattern, then will stitch them together into an afghan. So far so good. (It's also good if you have a short attention span. The square is over before you can really get sick of something.)
