Have you kids tried Knifty Looms? It is a really fast way to knit! I add beads to the beanies for my nieces!

If you mean the little round looms we tried one last year and made a couple of simple beanies, we tried to get a couple at Wal Mart but they haven't had them this year. How did you add beads?

Very easy!! You add the beads before you begin (on the yarn). I can send you the complete instructions. It really looks awesome!

PS Anyone on this thread have anything that these kids can use??? Knifty Knitters?? Left over yarn?? Beads?? Fabric??

Glad to hear you got the sewing machines and irons. I'm sure they'll be put to good use.

The Wal Mart closes to us has one kit, but it's not the round one they are oblong. What do you use those for? They are fairly expensive and I want to make sure we can use them before investing in them.

Hi all.. I have a question about rag quilts...

I have all my blocks ready to go...I have them separated into rows.. so now I have 12 rows down and 10 rows across...

I have sewn my across rows together

I am about to sew all my 12 rows down together...when i pin all these together to assemble the quilt... so I press my seams open?
