A quilt I am working on for my best friend's 50th birthday. Her favorite colors are red and yellow and she loves sunflowers. I like this so much I may do a similar one for my sister's 50th birthday. I may use more greens and blues for hers though. This is not sewn together yet, except for the blocks.

We have openings in our due august 15Th and due Oct.15Th block swaps, instructions are on the first page, the Oct.15Th swap colors are blue and yellows, anyway,style etc, and the block is solitaire link on first page, we would like to invite any of you, the aug swap has 1 opening and the Oct swap has 2 openings,

Maybe someday I will join in on the swap. Just not enough time right now. I have this one to finish, another one for my sister and also just found out I need to make another baby quilt. This time it will be for my very first grand baby

great idea to start this quilting group!!..back to quilting after 2.5yr hiatus and am loving it...of course, had to start back with a carpenter's wheel block that is the top part to a king-sized quilt!!...and i'm amazed that it is going together very nicely...the irish chain in greens/whites if just lovely...i look forward to being part of this group...thanks, sharon
