Sorta new to BYÇ, just found you all! I'm a photographer/quilter/sewer/scrapbooker (semi retired--haven't touched paper since I started quiting 1 year ago! I have about 1/3 of the basement, as an art studio, and it's a mess (but I rationalize that it's because there's a LOT going on in there!!!) I just finished 2 quilts, have 4 tops pieced (I've done one hand pieced and the rest machine, but have one more marked for hand piecing). I learned to quilt by hand, so my first 4 quilts were hand quilted. I just finished my first machine quilted quilt, and it was fun! I'm glad I found you all--I don't quilt much in spring or summer--to many fun outside things to do, and it's too hot to sit under a quilt and hand quilt--but I'm still going to pop in often and see what's up!
Of course they would sell. Especially since the fabrics coordinate with kitchen colors and are sooooo useful.
I shop early for birthdays and .....Christmas.....I know...but I hate shopping in crowds.
Two or three in a set would make a great gift.
OHHHH andother great idea is a quilted baked potato bag for the microwave. It's made with highloft quilt batting. A really sweet 85 year old neighbor made me one for Christmas several years ago and I love it!! Its great for corn on the cob too. She sells them around town.
