I just pieced the hardest quilt top I have ever done. It's for my sister's 50th birthday. I have just a little over 3 weeks to get it finished.
Hopefully she will like it. My DH says that all the little flaws and imperfections make a homemade quilt more unique and adds more character. Well this one sure is unique and has a lot of character
this quilt is just beautiful...good job on a hard block!!...
i am in the process of making queen size quilt with the carpenter-wheel center--> that was terribly hard...i just hope it will lay a bit flatter once i put the borders on and quilt it...it should be ok...quilting covers a multitude of ''sins''!...
~~I finished my Weeping Angel block, I am so excited w/ how it turned out!!!!!!!! Well over 300 pieces and most all my points and matches are perfect!!!!!!!
I went to Hancocks just for thread the other day and found a piece of fabric that would make a nice tie for my husband, so I now have 3 "ties in waiting" guess I should get busy on those.
I personally "stalk" the hobbies section. At least once a week I click on misc. then on hobbies to see all the most recent posts to threads in that section, or new threads. I think the quilt swap that is current is the red/white/blue one.
